ADEA Launches New Advocacy Website

[vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]The ADEA Advocacy Website went live in March and by the end of December had over 6,000 unique page views with 63% new visitors. The website provides legislative information and resources on issues of interest to academic dentistry and dental and craniofacial research. It is divided into three major categories: Federal Information, State Information and Canadian Information and includes both a State Interactive Tracking Map and State Interactive Regulatory Map to allow ADEA members to stay up to date on what is happening in their states.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner]

ADEA Action Alerts Spur ADEA Members to Write to Congress

[vc_column_text]Another feature of the ADEA Advocacy Website is the ability to “flag” current issues that might affect dental education and dental and craniofacial research and allow ADEA members to communicate directly with their elected officials in real time. In 2015, ADEA issued three ADEA Action Alerts, resulting in 238 individual letters to Members of Congress by ADEA members:[/vc_column_text]
